Announcement new positions

Open Systems Specialists Ltd are pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Taylor into a newly created position of 'General Manager, Client Strategy', and Roger Cleland into the newly created position of 'Client Executive'

The GM Client Strategy is responsible for leading the development and execution of our client-partner model - assisting our clients to execute on their digital strategy, and is a key role in our executive team. 
Ian has worked in the IT industry in various roles for over 25 years and his broad industry experience and client knowledge means he is well positioned to lead this team and their respective clients. 

We are also pleased to announce the appointment of Roger Cleland into the newly created position of 'Client Executive'. 
The Client Executive is responsible for the total client partnership, leading the planning and execution to meet strategic goals, on behalf of specific clients. 
These appointments reflect the continued focus O.S.S. has on helping our clients to effect business change and transformation as a result of technology development and innovation, and is on the back of strong business growth realised over the last eighteen months through strong and increasing partnerships.

About Ian 
Ian’s IT career extends back to the early 90s, starting as an analyst Programmer for Rank Xerox developing and managing software rollouts. Over the last 25 years he has worked with developing technologies in many organisations including Shell, British Airways, British Petroleum, and more recently in his positions of Client Executive, and Sales Manager for Open Systems Specialists Ltd.

About Roger 
Roger's IT career began in operations in 2000 and by 2003 his strength in dealing with customers had been identified and he had moved into managing delivery of services to clients. Since then, Roger has proven his account management capabilities across the Transportation, Infrastructure, Manufacturing and Retail sectors for large industry IT services leaders. His expertise in commercial, contract, delivery and relationship management enables Roger to affect positive business change and rapidly navigate issues to resolution. His most recent role prior to joining Open Systems Specialists Ltd was managing HPE's relationship with Fonterra's IS Service Owners and IS Business Managers.
